Nourishing Cashew Collagen Smoothie

A creamy, nutrient-dense smoothie filled with flavours of cinnamon and cardamom.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk any milk will work well in this recipe
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 scoop collagen powder
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 tbsp hemp hearts
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric

Instructions

  • If you do not have frozen bananas on hand, I highly recommend throwing some in the freezer and waiting to make this smoothie until you've got frozen ones ready to go. It really does make all the difference.
  • Toss all smoothie ingredients into your blender.
  • Pulse on high until completely combined and enjoy right away. This recipe fills a large mason jar or two small mason jar sized cups if you're the type of person who likes to share...I'm not! :)
